Fact #12:  Bob Kowalkowski, a guard for the Detriot Lions, played in the first NFL game at the Pontiac Silver Dome.  Scott Kowalkowski, a linebacker for the Detriot Lions (and Bob's son), played in the last NFL game at the Silver Dome.

Fact #2:  The AFL & NFL finally fully merged at the beginning of the 1970 season, although the merger was initially announced on June 8, 1966.  To even the conferences, the Browns, Colts, and Steelers moved from the NFL to the AFC.
